Why we need to deport Rohingya Muslims ?

The Rohingya Muslims are a 2 million strong community hailing from the Rakhine region in Burma. Historical records indicate the presence of the Rohingya's in Burma since the 1430s. Burma claims that the Rohingyas are refugees from Bangladesh and are not citizens of Burma. Since they are not citizens, they need not enjoy any benefits which are a privilege of citizens only. Rohingyas are Sunni Muslims and have their own language. They have little in common with Burmese culture which has a strong Buddhist influence.

There are 40,000 Rohingyas settled illegally settled in Jammu with more than a million more waiting to make their way to India.  Libtards in India are making a strong case for India to take in more Rohingyas and take care of the ones illegally settled here.

There are 3 reasons why India needs to not only close its doors to this community but also deport the ones present in Jammu

1) History of the Rohingyas - Despite being in Burma for at least 700 years, the Rohingyas have done little to assimilate or integrate with the Burmese society. On the contrary, they consider the Burmese as occupiers and have made multiple attempts to fight for self-determination i.e. a separate homeland.

2) Pakistan Movement - In the 1940s when Jinnah gave shape to the idea of Pakistan, the Rohingyas not only supported Jinnah but also a made a case to join East Pakistan. The Rohingyas have and are likely to remain loyal to Pakistan.

3) J&K/Article 370 - No Indian has the right to settle or buy property in J&K.  Kashmiri Pandits who hail from J&K are being prevented from returning home. When an Indian has no right to settle in J&K, refugees from a foreign land should have no rights to settle down in J&K. This will also change the demographic profile of Jammu. Buddhists in Leh/Laddak and Hindus in Jammu will meet the same fate as the Pandits in the valley if the Rohingyas are allowed to stay in J&K.

The Rohingya Muslims are a Pro-Pakistan community that has refused to live in harmony in Burma for 700 years. There is no way they can or will live peacefully in India.

We need to deport every single Rohingya in J&K and ensure that not one of them can enter India in future.

Manohar - One who could win hearts and minds

They say that it is easy to defeat anyone, winning people over is the most difficult thing to do. Manohar Parrikar true to his name dedicated his life to winning people over. My first interaction with Manohar Parikkar was 5 years ago. Elections had been announced and Manohar Parikkar was asked to address IT professionals living in and around Outer Ring Road in Bangalore. New Horizon College was the venue. On that lazy Sunday, I managed to show up at the venue 15 before time. Politicians are known to arrive late but Manohar Parrikar was already there mingling with the IT crowd. He speech consisted of 2-3 stories with foksy humor and wisdom. He wanted the IT crowd to engage in politics, to participate in nation building, I still remember his story "Once upon a time, Goa was known for the best watermelons. Every year post the harvest season, farmers in every village would invite people to taste the best watermelons for free. There was only one condition, they had to spit ou...

Mahaghatbandhan Meltdown

Over the last 9 months, regional leaders had worked very hard to build an anti-Modi front. They did not contest seats, swallowed pride and also shared a platform with the very parties against whom they had contested all their lives. These regional parties did all this with only one hope - survival. They believed that if they all came together, they could put up a credible fight against Modi in 2019. It would be painful for each one of them to concede seats but at least survival was possible. The Mahaghatbandhan strategy was put to test during the bypolls. Vote banks were combined; lifelong enemies (BSP-SP) came together and the BJP was defeated in the bypolls. Mahaghatbahndhan despite its inherent contradictions seemed to work. Desperation was the binding glue. NDA, on the other hand, seemed to lose friends. The Shiv Sena remains miffed as it is relegated to a supporting role, TDP walked out as it was unable to take on YSR at the local level. On top of this, media build a ...
