Bharat Mata ki Jai !!

Swami Vivekananda once said

"Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life; dream of it; think of it; live on that idea. Let the brain, the body, muscles, nerves, every part of your body be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success"

For the last one year , the 'one idea' for many a 'Hindu Nationalist'  like me was to see NaMo at 7RCR. As the campaigning for the 2014 elections ends today, its just begin to dawn that the journey that we embarked on will come to an end in a week's time.

Its been a long hard fight but then we nationalists are a bunch of fighters - from Maharana Pratap to Rani Ki Jhansi, no matter how bad the odds are against us, no matter how powerful the opponent is, we never give up , we always find the resolve to carry on

As I met hundreds and thousands of NaMo volunteers, I saw in them the spirit of Mahara Pratap and Rani Laxmibai - from spending weekends in villages after a week of hard work at offices, weekly outreach programs, chai parties, participating in Run for Bharat marathons, authoring Tweets and FB posts to  counter our hostile 'news traders' , collecting inputs for manifesto, communicating NaMo's vision to the public, driving voter registrations, door to door campaigns ..... the list is endless....

Like Maharana Pratap and Rani Laxmibai, we have fought for a cause, no matter what the results show on May 16th, history will remember this campaign.

For me, this campaign has achieved for India far more than getting NaMo elected as PM - it has awakened the people of India.

Swami Vivekanda said 'Arise, Awake and do not stop till you reach your destination'.

Post this campaign I can say for sure that  India has awakened and risen and we will not to stop till we reach our destination - to realise Swami Vivekananda's vision of seeing Bharat as a jagad guru.

Bharat Mata ki Jai !!

Mauka Mauka for the Enemy Within

Two things unite a nation as diverse as India - culture and cricket. When any nation takes part in a world tournament and does well very in the initial stages, one would expect the people of that nation to back the team .... Over the past few weeks we had many intellectuals and prominent media houses hoping that India looses the semi finals against Australia ... It started with noted sociologist Ashis Nandy .... According to Nandy, India is suffering from too much national pride and winning the world cup will make it worse... This was followed by a national poll by a leading print magazine Outlook which asked .. "Should India win the World Cup ? "  You can take the survey here Outlook not only echoed Nandy's sentiments but went on to add that "winning the world cup might just make India's macho and hyper masculine nationalism more intense. Over the last few months, there seems to have been an effort to make a pluralistic India into a homogeniz...

BJP Karyakarta has Won

The earliest memory I have of a BJP karyakarta was of my mother''s colleague and friend called as Rajani aunty . Rajni aunty and her family were dedicated, committed karyakartas of the RSS, Jan Sangh and then the BJP.  Their commitment was so complete that they made every contribution they could - tan, man and dhan. Even in the 1980's when the BJP was a very young party, Rajani aunty and her family stood like a steady rock. When Vajpayee lost in the 1984 election, there were tears in her eyes. Rajani aunty used to work as a professor at the Sophia college in Mumbai. Once she asked a rather innocent question in the GK paper - "Who is the founder of the RSS ? ". The secular Catholic management took a very hard view and she was forced to quit her job. For 2 years she did not have a job but never once regretted her commitment to the ideology. Through her trials , she always stood by the Sangh. Her family for generations and decades stood by the Sangh no matte...

Opposition parties such as Congress, JDU, AAP  etc have been crying murder over the so called Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh. Lets first understand this 'Vyapam scam' .. What is Vyapam Scam ? Vyapam is a local board in Madhya Pradesh that conducts competitive exams. The current scam is about 326 students who got impersonators to take exams in their place. After clearing the exams, they got preferential job allotments. Scam has 2 parts first is impersonation and second is non merit based job allotments ...  Issue #1 - Impersonation ...
